Update 19:51
We are all safe at villa one. Internet still going, as is power and phones.
We have plenty of food and water and will remain here until the situation becomes clear.
We also have the landcruiser parked out front in case we run out of beer and wine need to drive out of Niger for any reason.
And we’ve just had steak and chips for dinner, but unfortunately, there was no desert.
And no, we don’t feel in any danger, but it’s a right pain in arse as we have made some great progress over the last few days and this has interrupted our momentum somewhat.
